HEART AND SOUL AND THE ARCHES

In 1997 Tim was commissioned, with Pete Jacobsen, to compose music for the 30th Anniversary of Jazz North East. Heart and Soul was premiered at the Caedman Theatre, Gateshead.

In September 1998 Tim was commissioned by the Arts Council of Wales to create the music for a multimedia work for CD Rom - The Arches ­ featuring the collages of John Digby and the poems of Welsh poet Tony Curtis.

Tony Curtis is one of Wales's leading poets. He has published over 20 books of poetry, criticism and art criticism. He has performed his poetry at festivals, schools and colleges in the UK, Europe and North America. recent appearances include the Guildford Book Festival, The Ty-newydd Festival in north Wales, St. David's Hall, Cardiff, and at the University of Turin and the Faenza Festival in Italy. He is Professor of Poetry at the University of Glamorgan where he runs the M.Phil in Creative Writing. Tim is currently developing Other People's Lives, a six-part series for television, with Gwenhelek Productions.
